Sounds like your computer is overheating, Given the time of year it's not a real surprise. If your computer is brand made you can check forums to see if others with the same box have issues with overheating.
First off try disabling Anti Aliasing and post processing effects, they add stress to cpu and graphics card. Also close down any external programs that would stress your computer further.
For a long term solution see if you can find a better cooling system for your computer.

With the information you have provided about your pc it is impossible to come to a conclusion as to why your computer is crashing. Need more info and is this vista or xp ?Are you geting blue screens if so post the errors if possible.

sometimes its just tooo hot
On the outside chance you are overheating...
1 Check the fan...is it running?
2 Check all cooling openings/screens...are they clean?
3 just for haha..do a general cleanup of any accumulation of dust inside the PC .
Good luck!

Off-hand I'd say something is overheating - most likely the graphics card. It could be that it's cooling fan (if it has one) is not working or that the fan and/or heatsink is clogged with dust/stuff. Or, it could simply have gone bad.
Or, of course, it could be the power supply, or cpu, or motherboard. As Antares said - check any and all fans - including the one in the power supply - to make sure they are running freely, and blow the dust out of everything. Beyond that, it'll probably have to "go to the shop".
